Obiageri Catherine Iheme, a native of Mgbidi Town in Oru-West LGA of Imo State, has an academic background that includes attending Nazareth Primary School in Festac Town from 1984 to 1989, Federal Government Girls’ College in Oyo from 1990 to 1995, Imo State University in Owerri from 1995 to 2000, and the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences at LUTH from 2003 to 2005. Currently, she is working towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Ilorin.

Throughout her career, she has worked at various medical laboratories, including Pathfinder Medical Laboratory in Festac Town, Mayob Diagnostic Laboratory in Ejigbo, and Novena Diagnostic Services Ltd. Currently, she holds positions as the Supervisor of Calvary Gardens Nursery and Primary School and the Medical Personnel of Gershom – Goshen College.

In the realm of AMLSN politics, she has held several roles, including Secretary of the AMLSN Oshodi / Isolo Chapter from 2014 to 2017, Vice-Chairman of the AMLSN Oshodi / Isolo Chapter from 2017 to 2020, State Publicity Secretary of the AMLSN Lagos State Branch from 2019 to 2022, and Vice-Chairman of the AMLSN Lagos State Branch from 2022 to the present.
