Salami Olubunmi Olutoyin serves as the Welfare/Social Director of the AMLSN Lagos state branch. She attended Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School from 1986 to 1992, followed by Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro from 1993 to 1996, where she obtained an OND. She then proceeded to the School of Medical Laboratory Science, LUTH from 1996 to 2000 and qualified as an Associate of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria. In 2000-2001, she completed her NYSC program at Maryland Specialist Hospital in Maryland. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Molecular Diagnosis.

In 2004, Salami Olubunmi Olutoyin joined the Ministry of Health where she started as a Medical Laboratory Scientist 1 and eventually rose to the position of Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist. She previously held positions such as Assistant Secretary of the Lagos State Civil Service Chapter and Pioneer Public Relations Officer of the AFMLS Lagos branch.
